Apex Alliance Florida is a statewide 501(c)(4) that develops civic leaders, organizes Florida’s Jewish community, and confronts antisemitism and extremism with action, not statements.
The Challenge
Antisemitism that once lived on the fringes of American politics now shows up in mainstream campaigns, on the far left and the far right. In Florida and across the country, candidates in both parties who traffic in hateful rhetoric are gaining followings, raising money, and, in some cases, winning office. The threat is not only rhetorical. In 2025, antisemitic vandalism and physical assaults in Florida reached record highs, according to ADL’s annual audit.
Our Approach
The political environment is changing. Our approach to protecting the Jewish community must evolve with it.
For decades, Florida’s Jewish community has relied on strong relationships with elected officials in both parties. Those relationships helped make our state one of the safest, most welcoming places anywhere to live a Jewish life.
Relationships alone are no longer enough, and neither is responding to antisemitism after it happens. It takes sustained engagement: developing the next generation of civic leaders, organizing our community, and keeping Jewish concerns at the center of the public conversation.
Why Apex Alliance
Most of our community’s institutions are charities, with strict limits on lobbying and political activity. National pro-Israel groups focus on Washington. Yet school boards, city halls, county commissions, and the Legislature shape daily Jewish life, and they are where tomorrow’s leaders get their start. That is where Apex Alliance Florida works.
Our Mission
Apex Alliance Florida develops civic leaders who stand with the Jewish community and with Israel, and organizes our community to make its voice heard. We confront antisemitism and extremism with action, not statements, so that Florida remains a place where Jewish life thrives.
Our work focuses on five priorities.

Leadership Development
Identifying, training, and mentoring civic leaders committed to pluralism and democratic values, whether they serve in elected office, on appointed boards, or in the community.

Community Organizing
Building a statewide volunteer network and supporting local organizing with training, information, and tools, so our community is heard from city hall to Tallahassee.

Political Accountability
Tracking what elected officials say and how they vote, recognizing those who confront antisemitism and stand with Israel, and responding with action when conduct puts our community at risk.

Coalition Building
Building partnerships across party and ideological lines with leaders and organizations who share our commitment to confronting hate.

Electoral Engagement
Endorsing and supporting candidates in select local and statewide races who share our commitment to Florida’s Jewish community.
Our Responsibility
Florida’s Jewish community did not become safe and welcoming by accident. It was built by generations who organized and showed up.
Our responsibility is to hand the next generation a community as safe and vibrant as the one we enjoy today.
